Makin’ Hay, three giant figures constructed of hay and steel, are the creation of internationally acclaimed sculptor, Tom Otterness. Since 2003, Alturas Foundation has installed these monumental figures celebrating the rich and changing relationship of the American people with their agricultural heritage in six distinct locations.
